Physio central coast, joint mobilisation

Joint mobilisation

Joint mobilisation and manipulation are an intervention that involves skilled passive and active symmetric movements to restore function, increase range of motion and reduce pain. Joint mobilisation is essential to maintaining long-term joint function and mobility. These techniques can be used to treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions that may cause reduced range of motion and joint stiffness.

The physiotherapists at Our Physio Central Coast are trained and experienced in manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilisations, passive accessory intervertebral movement (PAIVM), passive physiological intervertebral movement, (PPIVM) and manipulation.
